Nicole Rogers enjoyed an eight year career in television production with work featured on PBS, MTV
VH1 and Comedy Central. While recovering from sports-related injuries to her shoulder and knees in 2000,
she discovered Pilates as a form of rehabilitation and exercise. It made such an impact that she eventually
decided to switch professions. In 2006, she quit her day job and became a Pilates instructor full-time.
Nicole certified at BodyTonic, with mentors Jennifer DeLuca and Caitlin Cook - students of Romana
Kryzanowska and Madeline Black, respectively. This makes her a 3rd generation Classical Pilates
instructor through the lineage of Joseph Pilates > Romana Kryzanowska > Jennifer DeLuca > Nicole Rogers.

Nicole has continued her Pilates training with Bob Liekens and Nicole Dooley-Collet. In addition,
she has studied anatomy with the esteemed Irene Dowd at her studio in New York. She also studies
yoga, meditation and trapeze, practices that helped to influence the creation of the Pilates method.
